Three months after being announced at WWDC 2012, iOS 6 is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The program includes a completely redesigned Maps application, Siri on the iPad, a new application to manage cards and other electronic tickets, and some improvements in iCloud. But all users are in the same boat they teach?
As every year, on the occasion of the release of a new iPhone, Apple revises iOS. Starting from a very minimalist version 1, the Cupertino company has made over the updates and essential features missing: support for third-party applications via the App Store with version 2, copy / paste and unified search with version 3, the management of multitasking with iOS 4, or iCloud and iTunes cut the cord with iOS 5.
IOS 6, Apple refocuses especially on new OS applications. Most significant is the Maps application, which abandons Google for data acquired by Apple technologies and signed TomTom map data. A new method of 3D visualization of large cities also made its appearance. Towards new applications, it is passbook, a manager of cards and electronic tickets which is the main attraction. We also note the arrival of Facebook integration comparable to Twitter on iOS5, new features to Siri, which opens the way to the iPad, and some enhancements to iCloud. Let’s take a closer look!
