First the Lytro Light Field Camera has the advantage of being able to adjust its focus, and sharpness resulting, at will, through multiple lenses, structured grid by them.

Its lens device thus allows it to accommodate vast fields of light from multiple angles. Therefore it becomes possible to favor any particular depth of field by shooting functions of a particular lens. Lytro known as a “living picture” of which it becomes possible to highlight the details that the viewer wants to focus the observer. This could for example be your friends, after sharing the photo.

Finally the exponential rate of Lytro Light Field is logically explained by the lack of autofocus. The search for technology allows no mechanism for development, no latency before the shooting. The image is captured instantly.

 

In an interview with Ren Ng, CEO of Lytro, Steve Jobs had planned shortly before his disappearance a partnership with the manufacturer of the first camera light field plenoptic public to technology, able to readjust the focus of a photo retrospectively.
